Paguera is a tourist complex that belongs to Calvià’s municipality, which is just 30 minutes away from Palma de Mallorca. This place has been dubbed “Little Germany” due to the large influx of Germans in this complex.
The complex is located approximately 6 km north of Santa Ponsa and is near Camp de Mar. Its three sandy beaches: Peguera Romana, Palmira de Peguera, and Torà offer visitors the necessary to enjoy a sunny day, the sea and have fun.
Cala Fornells, which offers a peaceful experience than the main beaches, has the astonishing hotel “Petit Cala Fornells”. The visitors can practice all kind of water sports, as well as excursions around the island.
Paguera has access to hiking trails, and that is why it is a good option for the hiking lovers. It is also located in a suitable geographical situation to explore some villages of the Serra de Tramuntana, due to the scarce distance between them.
The area’s community is totally international. Paguera is known for its cleanliness and its wide range of services and restaurants for tourists. Furthermore, the main attraction of Paguera is the safety of its beaches, suitable for families with children.
Paguera is a peaceful place to go with family, even so, it’s a perfect option for couples and singles. It is not a lively area because in this complex the foreigners have a second house that they occupy in summer.
The real estate offer in the area focuses on 20th-century buildings. They are usually white houses with a Mediterranean style. Property prices in Paguera have remained more or less the same. Furthermore, in the case of apartments or houses on the seafront, their prices skyrocket, but they don’t reach the prices of Puerto de Andratx or Camp de Mar.
The houses with sea view cost between 1 and 2 million euros. The apartments are smaller and cheaper, they cost between 200,000 and 500,000 euros.
